ABOUT

Born in the smallest state, Nikki developed the biggest dream of becoming a writer director. Inspired heavily by her Senegalese culture, she hopes to write many stories from and for people all over the world that are authentic to their experiences. Her goal is to share beautiful narratives that are undeveloped by the mainstream, who focus on their struggles instead.

She has been involved in many productions as a crew member. Roles she has fulfilled include assistant director, cinematographer, and producer. In her latest project she took on the large roles of writer, director, cinematographer, and editor. She is excited to showcase her second short film, Countersun, that represents her culture in a unique way.

Nikki is a graduate of Bryant University and is currently pursuing her MFA in Film and Television at Sacred Heart University.

When she is not on sets or working on launching her production company The StuDiohs , you can find Nikki on a fencing strip. A big part of her life is fencing epee, which she strives everyday, like film, to get better at.
